Suits To Go
They say of “fast” “cheap” and “good,” you can only pick two. Suitsupply, a new custom suit shop on Broome Street, wants to challenge that notion.
Details called it “a European Men’s Wearhouse” which is pretty much the greatest neg ever.
Off-the-rack suits start at $399, and they promise to make (small) alterations within a half hour of you handing over your credit card. The Amsterdam-based company even offers fully made-to-measure suits in - wait for it - three days. Too good to be true? We’ll see.
If anyone needs a new suit, I’d love to tag along and see how they live up to their 30-minutes-or-less promise. And yes, I’ll be bringing a stopwatch.
